Shenmue III Kickstarter ends at a whopping 6.3 million!
The legendary Shenmue series was once thought as one that would never see the light of day again. Thanks to over 69,000 Shenmue fans, Yu Suzuki can resume his work on the sprawling Shenmue tale thanks to his Kickstarter campaign set up for Shenmue III. The game broke a Kickstarter record as the highest funded video game in company history, making over 6.3 million dollars in 30 days. Now that the Kickstarter campaign is officially over, Ys Net, Yu Suzuki’s development studio, can begin production on the long awaited third entry in the epic action adventure series originally released on the Sega Dreamcast.
