The Gaming Outsider Podcast – Episode 063: Need for Speed (2015) Discussion

It’s officially 2016 and we have our very first episode of The Gaming Outsider podcast for the new year available right now! In this episode Scott and Josh welcome our good pal and community member Aron Hughes II to discuss Ghost Games’ and Electronic Arts’ high-speed reboot of Need for Speed. Released during the holidays in 2015, this reboot of the classic racing series set out to start fresh by wiping the slate clean and attempting to cater to a larger audience. Did Ghost Games accomplish this? Listen to the episode to find out how one die hard racing fan, one fan of the classic Need for Speed games, and one gamer who barely plays racing games, feel about this new entry.
