Pokken Tournament Hits Wii U on March 18

Namco/Bandai’s Tekken-inspired Pokemon fighting game simply titled Pokken Tournament hits store shelves a little sooner than we thought! The publisher announced that Pokken Tournament will release March 18th on the Wii U alongside the Hori branded Pokken Tournament USB fightpad.

The game will ship with 16 playable Pokemon and will feature fighting mechanics similar to the Tekken series gamers may already be familiar with. Hopefully the game will catch on with the fighting game community and we’ll get to see some sweet Pokemon on Pokemon battles in EVO this year. We’re just happy we have something new to play on the Wii U!
