Bungie to Release Large Destiny Expansion in 2016 and Sequel in 2017

Looks like Bungie isn’t done with Destiny quite yet. A blog update on Bungie’s website confirmed that the team is currently working on a brand new large expansion for the original Destiny game that will ┬árelease this year. Also, Bungie confirmed that Destiny 2 will drop next year in 2017. A content update for Destiny will be released this Spring as well. I’m sure Bungie plans to keep Destiny as relevant as they can so this isn’t surprising. I’m curious to see what they will be adding to the game.

During the Holidays last year, prices for Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition dropped pretty low, going as low as $10 at some retailers. It seems like interest has died off in the game a bit so Bungie will need to pull some tricks from their sleeves to keep players engaged and coming back. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear something new.
