Pokemon Themed “Nintendo Direct” May Reveal New Pokemon Moon/Sun on Friday

Nintendo has announced that the first Nintendo Direct of 2016 will be a Pokemon-themed presentation starting Friday, February 26th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. Fans have began to speculate what Nintendo could be announcing during this presentation, given it is the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise this year. Well fans may not have to speculate much anymore because a leaked trademark and logo design for two new Pokemon games titled Moon and Sun hit the internet today via NerdLeaks.com. Nintendo’s presentation should reveal all tomorrow, but at the moment we’re not sure if this is a brand-new generation of Pokemon games, remakes, 3DS titles or even Wii U titles. By the looks of it, I would guess this is a brand new Pokemon game that could be the swan-song for the 3DS hardware.

We’ll let everyone know what Pokemon Sun and Moon is exactly as soon as it is announced, or if the leak happens to be fake. In the meantime, check out NerdLeaks to get the full details on how they unearthed these titles.
