Retro Reminisce – Episode 001: Primal Rage is now available

In order to expand The Gaming Outsider to cover more ground in the gaming realm, we decided to start a new show that is dedicated strictly to retro gaming. As a result, Retro Reminisce was born. Hosted by yours truly, Josh Faulkner, and co-hosted by GO community member and personal friend Justin Wilson, Retro Reminisce aims to deliver a hand-picked retro game each week to revisit and discuss on the show. We’ll give you the history of the game, how well it holds up today and even it’s current pricing trends in case listeners want to seek out a copy for themselves.

Our first episode is centered around Atari’s classic arcade fighter Primal Rage. The duo discuss what makes Primal Rage stand out among popular fighting games of its time, the controversy surrounding it’s rating and if the game is worth owning in your collection. Please use our feedback email link above or our Facebook group to let us know what you like about the show, what we can improve on and even suggest a game you would like for us to cover. You can subscribe to Retro Reminisce via iTunes and Stitcher right now along with a YouTube version you can watch below that includes gameplay footage of Primal Rage played by us. Thanks and we hope you enjoy the show!
