The Gaming Outsider Podcast – Episode 096: Cult Classic Gaming

We apologize for the janky release this week as our editor was out for vacation and had to work around a goofy schedule. This week Josh sits out while the rest of the gang welcomes community member Kyle Boggs to come talk about the latest gaming news including the miraculous Red Dead Redemption upgrade on Xbox One, the juicy new Overwatch updates including a brand new hero, and No Man’s Sky’s surprisingly low disk size. The group dive deep into the new phenomenon that is Pokemon GO, Scott gives us the skinny on Song of the Deep and more. Our community topic centers around cult classic games; which ones are our favorites and what actually constitutes as a “cult classic” anyway? Head on over to your platform of choice to download the episode now. Thanks and enjoy the show!

Josh is a native Ohio-an who grew up in a small town that had very little for kids to do. As a result, Josh picked up video games at a very young age. Video games played a huge part in his childhood and continued to do so in his adult life. Starting out on an Atari 2600 when he was 3 years old, gaming has sort of grown up alongside with Josh and continues to be his biggest hobby. As an IT technician by day, Josh is an aspiring gaming writer by night who founded a few websites including 16 Bit Heroes and Too Busy Gaming, while also dabbling in retro gaming YouTube videos and live streaming events.
