Retro Reminisce – Episode 014: Super Metroid

After a two week hiatus to battle illness and buggy software, Retro Reminisce is back with a brand new episode. This week the guys tackle Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo. Generally considered one of the best games ever made, Super Metroid has influenced a lot of games throughout the years and even helped create a whole sub-genre of action games. We take a look back at some of our most fond memories of the game, discuss how brilliantly designed it was for the time, and how well the game holds up 22 years later. You’ll even hear from someone who’s never played any Metroid game before recording this episode. Grab the episode now via iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn or Google Play Music. Can’t wait? You can listen directly below too. Thanks and enjoy the show!
