Metroid: Zero Mission Comes to Wii U Virtual Console January 14th

Metroid fans have been begging Nintendo for quite awhile for a virtual console release of the popular GBA classic “Metroid: Zero Mission” and it seems they’ve finally answered our call. Starting tomorrow, January 14th, “Metroid: Zero Mission” will hit the Wii U virtual console and playable on the Wii U gamepad for $7.99 in the eShop. Zero Mission is a remake of the original Metroid title from the original NES with brand new graphics, gameplay enhancements and features. Fans consider Zero Mission one of the best games in the series and it’s nice to see it available on the service, especially seeing as the game is pretty pricey to obtain on the GBA.
