The Gaming Outsider Podcast – Episode 078: Story vs. Mechanics

Sorry for the short delay but the latest episode of The Gaming Outsider podcast for the week of March 7th, 2016 is now available for download. We have a jam packed episode this week as we welcome Josh Reding (or J.R. as we refer him as in order to avoid a Josh mixup) from the Tangent Break podcast to talk games with us. The community topic this week centers around the battle between story versus gameplay; which element is more important to you? In our “whatcha been playing” segment, Josh dives into The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, Scott talks more Far Cry Primal, J.R. describes his time with Everyone’s Gone to the Rapture, and Robby gives us the skinny on Tom Clancy’s The Division. Prepare for a lot of Dark Souls love from the Josh duo. For the news this week the gang talks about the sad closure of Lionhead Studio, the release date and price for No Man’s Sky, and all of the latest info from last week’s Nintendo Direct. Grab the episode now via iTunes, Stitcher or TuneIn and don’t forget to drop us a review as well. Thanks and enjoy the show!
