Decay of Logos Announced From Rising Star Games
A Brand New Adventure for Current-Gen Consoles
Rising Star Games announced today their newest collaboration with a small developer, unveiling Decay of Logos. First-time developers Amplify Creations are stepping out of middleware creation, and diving headfirst into an interconnected third-person action-RPG. They’re certainly not short of ambition. The Portugal-based studio seems to be bringing in some European design sensibilities, as the art looks beautiful and unique amongst games today.
Some of it seems traditional of the genre, but judging by the trailer there’s a lot of heart being poured into this one. Decay of Logos promises plenty of exploration, tough-as-nails combat, and a plethora of items and upgrades. I, for one, am genuinely excited.
The story begins with one of the king’s sons destroying our poor hero’s home village. She sets out on a very personal quest of vengeance. Of course, she’ll discover more about the King and his sons, and maybe not all is as it seems.
What’s truly setting this game apart from a lot these kinds of semi open-world titles is the elk companion. Friend and steed both, it looks like the elk is going to be with our young protagonist for the duration of the quest. You can even pet it.
Decay of Logos is releasing this Autumn.
