Last generation version of Mortal Kombat X canned by Warner Bros.
Still waiting for that last gen version of Mortal Kombat X? Unfortunately for gamers still on an Xbox 360 or PS3, that version is now KIA thanks to Warner Bros pulling the plug on the development of the title recently. Warner Bros cited the lack of quality being the issue that put the final nail in the coffin of the last gen port. Honestly, if the game was going to be far inferior in the first place, it was a good decision to pull the plug. I doubt Warner Bros needs any more mud slung at them after the fiasco they had on their hands with the PC port of Mortal Kombat X and the recent issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC that still have not been corrected. Thankfully, Mortal Kombat X is pretty great on the current generation of consoles and will be ready for gamers to play once they upgrade to an Xbox One or Playstation 4. Don’t shoot the messanger, guys!
