New Nintendo 3DS standard unit coming to North America after all
Nintendo just announced that the smaller variation of the New Nintendo 3DS that launched in February but skipped a North American release due to missing the “demographic” here in the States will now release September 25th. The handheld will come in the form of an Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer bundle that includes the game, two faceplates and an Amiibo figurine for $219.99.
Also, a Gamestop exclusive Legend of Zelda New Nintendo 3DS XL will also release October 20th for $199.99.
The New Nintendo 3DS is a redesign of the Nintendo 3DS handheld that includes many new features such as expanded system memory, a face tracking camera for the 3D functionality, a small analog nub for camera control, and more.
Is this exciting for Nintendo fans who wanted the smaller N3DS or frustrating for those who purchased the N3DS XL who would have preferred the smaller unit but didn’t have the option at launch? Let us know in the comments below or on our Facebook group by clicking the Facebook icon above!
