Batman: Arkham Knight PC players receive free goodies courtesy of WB Games
Today WB Games finally re-released the fixed and enhanced version of Batman: Arkham Knight for PC, which was plagued with various issues when launched back in June. A free patch is available for all of the PC gamers who decided to keep Arkham Knight and didn’t refund their purchases, which upgrades the game to the new enhanced version. As an added bonus, every PC gamer who purchased Arkham Knight on PC or plans to purchase it before November 16th will get the entire Batman: Arkham series added to their Steam collection free of charge within the coming month. This includes:
- Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition
- Batman: Arkham City GOTY Edition
- Batman: Arkham Origins
- Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate
Also, Rocksteady will be releasing a free challenge pack in January of 2016 for Arkham Knight owners as well. Not only will PC players receive the pack for free but will also receive it a week early before console players can snag it themselves.
Pretty sweet deal for those who do not own these games already, but I think the season pass would have been a better deal since a lot of fans most likely own these titles already. Still, it is nice to see WB Games rewarding players who stuck with the game instead of making them deal with a crappy port for five months with no thank you or a pat on the back. If you still haven’t played Arkham Knight and basically want the whole Arkham saga for the price of one game, go purchase the game on Steam now.
