Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Starter Pack for PC Now Available
Wish you could play Call of Duty: Black Ops III online without having to pay for all of the crap (like that awful campaign mode) the full version comes with? Well Activision may have something that interests you. PC gamers can now jump on Steam and purchase the “Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Starter Pack” for $14.99 that gives players access to the full multiplayer mode from last year’s Black Ops III. The downside to this is that it does omit some features like custom games, the ability to prestige, Zombies mode or play with any mod tools. The pack seems like a great way to get your feet wet in Black Ops III’s multiplayer suite without having to shell out $60. Unfortunately for console players, this pack isn’t available on the PS4 or Xbox One YET but it may surface eventually.
I think this is a good move for folks like myself who like playing the multiplayer but feel like they get hosed spending full price for the game each year. Eventually you may want the rest of the features found in Black Ops III but luckily the multiplayer starter pack does give you the ability to upgrade to the full version.
