The Ubisoft Forward 2021 was full of exciting announcements and reveals. Let’s check them out!
Rainbow Six: Extraction
Now brandishing a new title, this latest installment of the Rainbow Six franchise unleashed two action-packed trailers for us and announced that it will be 1-3 player co-op. Be prepared for September 16, 2021.
Rocksmith+
With this new Rocksmith entry, you no longer have to use a cord to plug your guitar into your console. You can use your phone as a microphone now if you’d rather not use your console. You can also access community help videos. A subscription is required but new songs will be released weekly and you can create your own songs now.
Riders Republic
The long-awaited title is finally coming our way. A spiritual successor to Steep, this tasks you with becoming the best athlete you can be via challenging courses. Challenge yourself September 2, 2021.
Rainbow Six Siege: North Star
Cross-play and cross-progression is coming June 30, 2021 to PC, Stadia, Luna, while it will be coming to Xbox and Playstation in 2022. A new defender called Thunderbird is also coming to the game next week.
Just Dance 2022
As expected, there’s a new Just Dance game coming with forty new songs. This one also happens to feature Todrick Hall. Get your groove on November 4, 2021.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: DLC/”Siege of Paris”
These newest additions include a huge new area to explore, new enemies and a new discovery tour mode. This will be released summer 2021.
Far Cry 6/Season Pass
We get a closer look at Giancarlo Esposito’s villainous character Anton in this trailer. He looks great so far, and it’ll be exciting to see him in action during our playthroughs. In addition, the season pass will allow you to play as Vaas, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed and will bundle in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. You can snag Far Cry 6 on October 7, 2021.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope/Gameplay
The sequel to Mario + Rabbids looks stunning and will be heading to space. This is coming to Switch in 2022.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
We just got our first look at Ubisoft’s Avatar game. It looks stunning and vibrant, as usual. Return to Pandora in 2022.
Ubisoft threw some surprises at us and announced new updates and DLC as well. This was a solid lineup for fans of this developer/publisher, and there’s quite a bit to look forward to.
