Split Fiction Trailer Showcases Character’s Side Stories and Co-op Gameplay
We saw Split Fiction a few weeks back, but HazelLight Studios released a new trailer at the recent State of Play. They highlight the side stories and co-op gameplay. It will be arriving on March 6th for the Playstation 5, Xbox X|S, and PC. But wait! There’s more! CROSS-PLAY!!
Fans of co-op will rejoice at what certainly looks like another great entry in the genre. Scott and Zack sang the praises of a recent co-op game, It Takes Two.
What We Can Expect
In Split Fiction, players work together as Mio, a realist Sci-Fi writer, and Zoe, an optimistic fantasy novelist, embark on a split-screen adventure through their own stories. As they leap across thrilling and radically contrasting worlds in their attempt to escape, players will coordinate with each other and build new skills and tools all while uncovering the power of unexpected friendship.
My Thoughts
I don’t get a lot of opportunities to play co-op games. This one has a story that makes me want to just find somebody to try it with me. The price is right and cross-play will help. I might just give this one a shot!
Split Fiction will launch March 6th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and the EA app for $49.99. Players can also invite a friend to play with them for free on any platform (cross-play on PS, Xbox & PC) with the Friend’s Pass.
