Bonkers Builders Announces Retro Style Game ‘Infinite Onslaught’
Bonkers Builders recently announced an upcoming retro-style arcade shooter called Infinite Onslaught. This throwback to classic arcade fun appears to draw inspiration from rail shooters like Operation Wolf—but with a twist! No light gun—keyboard only!
Players take on the role of Matt Johntrix, a military commando on a mission of vengeance. “Every detail, from the gritty environments to the explosive effects, has been designed to evoke the same adrenaline-pumping thrill that defined the era.”
The demo will be available for download in June 2025, following the June edition of Steam Next Fest, with the full version arriving sometime after. If you’re a PC gamer looking for a retro arcade shooter fix, Infinite Onslaught might just be the game for you!

My Thoughts
This one looks like a fun way to spend some time at the gaming PC! Despite the over-the-top violence and fun animation, this one appears to maintain a certain charm that’s going to make me smile the entire time I’m playing it! I could see a game like this being a sleeper that charges its way into my top 10. I’m excited to try it out, how about you?
