The space strategy game Ephemeris, under development in Finland, receives international funding
Yrdvaab, the development studio behind the upcoming game Ephemerus, didn’t hit their IndieGogo campaign goal. Their campaign efforts and the international news about their game reached financiers from Germany who fronted more than enough Euros to get the game moving in the right direction. Ephemerus is slated for Windows release at a later date. Check out their page on Steam along with the trailer below. This looks like a fun game with depth. A little bit of combat, a little bit of turn-based RPG, a little bit of strategy. Ephemerus has everything. They’re excited to start building steam (get it?) by having early access later this year!

My Thoughts
I hope to hear more from Yrdvaab and their PR group, Visionist, about Ephemerus. Space combat will always initially grab my attention, but Ephemerus goes a step farther by making it like our very own personal Star Wars. Building an empire, diplomacy, galaxies to explore, the space combat looks amazing! Count me in! Check out the trailer here!
