What We Can Expect
- Intense Speed-Climbing Horror: Navigate the crumbling walls and deadly gaps of SUB-STRUCTURE 17 while avoiding traps and hostile creatures in a high-stakes, first-person roguelite experience.
- Dynamic Inventory Management: Carefully balance your loadout—every tool helps your ascent, but carrying too much makes climbing harder, forcing you to make split-second decisions.
- Ever-Changing Biomes & Enemies: Each area, from the Silos to the Pipeworks, introduces new environmental hazards and increasingly aggressive foes, ramping up the tension as you climb higher.
- Persistent Upgrades & Progression: Unlock and enhance perks like stamina, climbing speed, and jump height between runs, giving you an edge for future attempts.
- Rising Doom Mechanic: An encroaching, malevolent ooze forces you to climb fast and efficiently—hesitate too long, and you’ll be swallowed by the darkness below.
My Thoughts
Give me White Knuckle! The graphics remind me of a time not that long ago, think Doom on a PS2. The pixel gore is inviting me in like how I love watching the original Night of the Living Dead for the throwback of it. Then they say the words “roguelite”, “ooze”, and “hostile creatures”, and I want to dive into to this nightmare head first and see if I can climb out of it! Bring it on!
