Bendy and the Ink Machine to Launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Bendy and the Ink Machine is returning with a new-generation release, bringing its eerie cartoon horror to Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Developed by Silver Lining Interactive in collaboration with Joey Drew Studios, and published by Silver Lining Interactive, the game is set to launch digitally at the end of Q2 2025. In addition to its digital debut, a physical edition will also be available exclusively for PlayStation 5 players, offering collectors and horror fans a tangible piece of the inky terror.
Originally launched on earlier platforms, Bendy and the Ink Machine plunges players into the haunting remains of a 1930s animation studio. Through a blend of first-person puzzle-solving, action, and psychological horror, players follow Henry, a former animator who is mysteriously called back to his old workplace. As he explores the ink-stained corridors of Joey Drew Studios, he uncovers disturbing secrets, forgotten characters, and the horrifying presence of the Ink Demon.
The PlayStation 5 retail edition adds to the atmosphere with a download code for the game’s original soundtrack, further immersing fans in its chilling ambiance. Pre-orders for the physical release are now available exclusively at Silver Lining Direct. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, this next-gen edition is your invitation to experience—or re-experience—the twisted legacy of Bendy.

My Thoughts
I’ll admit that I do not have the depth of gaming experiences as some of our listeners and readers, but Bendy and the Ink Machine is quite possibly the most uniquely animated game I’ve come across. It looks demented and I mean that in the best way possible. Sure, it’s available on Steam already, but I will be first in line when the PS5 and Xbox X|S versions are available. If you’ve never heard of this game, you must check out the trailer below!
