ESDigital’s “Steel Seed” Out Now (PC, PS5, XSX)

Steel Seed, developed by Storm in a Teacup and published by ESDigital Games, is a stealth-action game released on April 22, 2025, for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Set in a dark sci-fi world where Earth has become uninhabitable, players follow Zoe and her drone companion Koby as they explore a hostile underground facility, blending stealth, parkour, and dynamic combat. The game is priced at $39.99, with a 15% launch discount available on all platforms for select users.

A Deluxe Edition is also available for $44.99, featuring a digital soundtrack by Andrea Remini, a digital artbook, two exclusive in-game costumes, and 23 HD wallpapers. The Deluxe Edition launched digitally on all platforms yesterday, with a physical edition for PlayStation 5 arriving May 23.

My Thoughts

Our own Scott Clark got his hands on the demo for Steel Seed and reported on his findings. His review was positive. He used the description “Single Player Stealth Adventure” which is exactly how I might have described a game like Metal Gear Solid (my own #1 game of all time). Needless to say, this game sounds fantastic and looks absolutely stunning! Give it a try after you check out the trailer below!
