Project Motor Racing to Hit the Track this Fall

Project Motor Racing, developed by Straight4 Studios and published by GIANTS Software, is an ambitious new racing simulator set to launch in fall 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Designed to capture the intensity and authenticity of real-world motorsport, the game offers over 70 licensed vehicles from 10 racing classes, including cutting-edge LMDh hypercars and iconic GT and sports cars from past decades. Spread across twenty-seven meticulously scanned tracks, the game blends nostalgia and modern motorsport in adrenaline-pumping, four-class racing events.

Whether you’re a veteran sim racer or a curious newcomer, Project Motor Racing aims to be accessible to all. With Single Player Career, Online Racing, and Full Race Weekend modes, it caters to a wide range of playstyles. The proprietary True2Track technology brings immersive realism to each track, simulating dynamic weather, adaptive racing lines, and a full 24-hour day/night cycle, while a new physics engine offers 720Hz handling precision and detailed force feedback. The game’s realism is further enhanced by its Factory Driver Program, which enlists professional racers to test and validate the handling of each car.

Built on the mod-friendly GIANTS Engine, Project Motor Racing sets a new standard for simulation fidelity and community engagement.

What We Can Expect

  • 70+ licensed cars from top manufacturers like Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Audi across 10 competitive classes.
  • True2Track realism with dynamic weather, track evolution, and immersive cockpit sensations.
  • Multi-mode gameplay including career, online, and full race weekend formats for all skill levels.
  • Next-gen physics engine delivering hyper-precise force feedback and 720Hz vehicle handling realism.

My Thoughts

I’m a subscriber to iRacing and absolutely love sim racing, especially the friendships I’ve built through the league I’m part of. Project Motor Racing looks ready to shake up the scene and give iRacing some real competition. The graphics are crisp, and the laser-scanned tracks promise top-tier realism. This definitely looks like something I’ll be excited to try. Launching on consoles is a big plus, especially if cross-play is supported. If you’re a sim racing fan, I highly recommend checking out the trailer and adding Project Motor Racing to your watchlist!
