Chronicles of the Wolf – Launches June 19th, 2025

Chronicles of the Wolf, developed by Migami Games and published by PQube and PixelHeart, is a gothic action-platformer steeped in myth and history. Launching June 19th, 2025, the game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC (via Steam), with physical editions offered for Switch and PlayStation consoles. A free playable demo is now live on Steam, allowing players a first glimpse into the cursed land of Gévaudan.

Set in 18th century France, Chronicles of the Wolf follows Mateo Lombardo, the last apprentice of the ancient Rose Cross Order, on his hunt for the legendary Beast of Gévaudan. The game blends classic Metroidvania elements with open-world exploration, intense combat, a dynamic day-night cycle, and gothic storytelling. Players will navigate from blood-soaked forests to the eerie Taxidermy Gallery, encountering challenging enemies and thrilling boss battles along the way.

The atmospheric experience is elevated by stunning illustrated cutscenes and a haunting soundtrack composed by Jeffrey Montoya, with a guest track by Castlevania: Lords of Shadow composer Óscar Araujo. Voice acting is headlined by Robert Belgrade (Alucard in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night) and features a special appearance from Bloodless of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, voiced by Kira Buckland (2B in NieR: Automata). With its immersive world, rich presentation, and myth-infused narrative, Chronicles of the Wolf is poised to be a must-play for fans of dark, cinematic adventures.
