Tabletop Game Shop Simulator Opens its Doors on PC in 2025

Tabletop Game Shop Sim, developed and published by Knight Fever Games, is a PC-exclusive simulator launching on Steam in 2025. First revealed at the Games Made in France event, this charming simulation lets players build and manage their very own miniature wargaming store. From store layout and pricing strategy to customer satisfaction and staff hiring, players must juggle all aspects of running a successful tabletop shop. Financial management and a strong grasp of supply and demand are crucial to survival.

In addition to shopkeeping, players can indulge in the world of miniatures by opening mystery packs, assembling, and painting rare figures to either sell or display. As the shop gains prestige, owners can host game nights, compete with patrons, and welcome elite clientele, striving to grow into the town’s top tabletop destination.

What We Can Expect

  • Deep store management gameplay including layout design, staffing, pricing, and inventory control

  • Collecting, assembling, and painting miniatures with rare parts and customization options

  • Community-building features like game nights and exclusive product launch events

  • Business growth mechanics focused on reputation, customer engagement, and expansion

My Thoughts

I’ll be honest, games that feel like recreations of real-life responsibilities don’t usually appeal to me. That said, because of my love for gaming as a hobby, if I were ever to open a physical storefront, it would definitely revolve around video games, tabletop games, comic books, and collectible figures or models.

Enter Tabletop Game Shop Sim, a title that checks a few of those boxes and actually looks like something I’d enjoy. Stocking shelves, setting prices, and building a successful business sound like rewarding challenges I’d want to take on.

I think I’ll be giving Tabletop Game Shop Sim a try when it launches. How about you? Check out the trailer and let me know what you think!
