Tri Survive – A Bullet Hell Roguelite With A Twist: Demo Out Now on Steam!
Tri Survive is the debut title from Saudi-based indie developer Majestic Mind Games, with a public demo launching May 16th, 2025 on Steam for PC. Published and developed in-house, this action-packed roguelite fantasy merges the addictive gameplay of Vampire Survivors with classic Fantasy RPG elements. Set apart by its unique mechanic, players control a party of three heroes—Tank, Healer, and DPS—each with distinct abilities, encouraging constant strategic decision-making and synergy.
Presented in a hand-drawn, JRPG-inspired art style, Tri Survive challenges players to survive relentless waves of enemies, balancing offense, defense, EXP collection, and battlefield positioning. Core gameplay revolves around managing the triangle formation, with survival unlocking powerful passives and the devastating triangle ultimate, a team-based finishing move that wipes out entire screens of foes.
Majestic Mind Games aims to make a bold first impression in the genre by introducing layered, multitask-heavy gameplay that rewards awareness and team synergy. According to CEO Majed, Tri Survive is built for fans of roguelites who are looking for a “familiar but fresh” experience.
While the full release is planned for later in 2025, the free demo gives players a first taste of its characters, evolving mechanics, and shop systems like the Power Up Shop, where gold can be spent to enhance the team’s abilities. For more details or to wishlist the game, visit the Steam page.

My Thoughts
It’s strange, while Tri Survive clearly channels Vampire Survivors vibes (even the developers acknowledge the influence; check out Scott’s review in the link), I’m also getting strong Golden Axe nostalgia. Maybe it’s the trio of characters. I really love how you control all three as a team, yet can shift their formation depending on where enemies are coming from. It adds a unique strategic layer and keeps the gameplay feeling fresh. I’m genuinely intrigued by what Tri Survive has in store. Be sure to check out the trailer below. I think you might be intrigued, too!
