Mexican Ninja Unleashes Myth and Mayhem in Neon-Soaked Mexico City
Mexican Ninja is a stylized, single-player roguelike beat ’em up developed by Madbricks and published by Amber Studio, coming soon to PC via Steam with a release date still to be announced. Set in a gritty, neon-soaked Mexico City, the game fuses intense combat with ancestral mythology, creating a world where ancient legends clash with modern-day chaos.
The newly launched Steam page and teaser trailer offer a first look at the masked warrior behind the blade and set the stage for what’s to come. An early gameplay demo is on the way, with press access beginning June 19th. A full graphic novel is also planned for later this year, expanding the lore and universe of Mexican Ninja.
What We Can Expect
- Fluid beat ’em up combat with modern roguelike mechanics.
- Skill tree progression, randomized builds, and stylish boss fights.
- A vibrant visual style inspired by both mexican and japanese folklore.
- A growing story world — this mini-comic is just your first step.
My Thoughts
Roguelike and beat ’em up aren’t two genres I usually see combined, but Mexican Ninja immediately grabbed my attention. The comic-style graphics are both entertaining and colorful, and the stylized blood splatter adds a nice touch of flair. This one looks like a lot of fun, and I’m excited to try it out.
