Hardcore Zombie Shooter The Midnight Walkers Gets New Cinematic Trailer

The Midnight Walkers, the debut title from indie developer Oneway Ticket Studio, just dropped its first cinematic trailer—a moody, stylish glimpse into a zombie-slaying loop of survival: kill, sleep, loot, repeat. Developed and published by the studio itself, this extraction-style FPS unfolds in the rotting guts of the Liberty Grand Center mega-complex, where players scavenge for gear, fend off zombies, and fight to escape alive. Whether you’re going solo or teaming up, one thing’s clear: death means losing everything.

Blending PvPvE and PvE gameplay, the game rewards both lone wolves and tight-knit squads. The Midnight Walkers launches in early access on PC in Q4 2025, with a console version following in 2026.

What We Can Expect

  • Explore a mega-complex overrun by extremely dangerous zombies – Liberty Grand Center has everything you’ll need, including a Shopping Mall, Hospital, Casino, and, of course, fatal poison gas. Tasty.
  • Gear up with your custom slayer’s arsenal – A variety of melee and ranged weapons includes Katanas, Sledgehammers, Shotguns, Bows, and more.
  • Encounter deadly zombies, mutated variants, and lethal bosses – From slow-moving Walkers and Crawlers, to mutated Acid-Spitters and Smashers, there’s so many gruesome ways to die.

My Thoughts

It’s a FPS zombie game! That’s all you had to say. In a world where we still haven’t seen Left 4 Dead 3, I’ve had to find my first-person zombie-slaying elsewhere. The Midnight Walkers looks like it might finally scratch that itch. The production quality is immediately impressive, and the variety of weapons and enemy types suggests there’ll be hours of entertainment here. I’ll be keeping my eyes and ears peeled for more as Q4 approaches.
