Resident Evil Survival Unit Coming soon to Mobile

Aniplex Inc. has officially revealed Resident Evil Survival Unit, a new mobile strategy game co-developed with JOYCITY Corporation, based in South Korea. The game is inspired by Capcom’s legendary Resident Evil franchise (known as BIOHAZARD in Japan). Resident Evil Survival Unit is being created in close collaboration with Capcom to ensure quality and authenticity.

The game reimagines the survival horror universe as a real-time strategy experience, built specifically for mobile platforms. Luckily, both iOS and Android users will enjoy the thrills. Let’s look forward to the global launch across Japan, South Korea, North America, Europe, and Asia. With this new direction, the developers aim to attract both longtime fans and newcomers to the franchise.

My Thoughts

Plain and simple, it’s Resident Evil for mobile. With how powerful phones have become, I believe this could end up being one of the best mobile titles we’ve seen. I’ve already subscribed to the YouTube channel to stay updated and plan to stream the announcement live on their site.
