Focus’ Co-op Space Roguelite “Void Crew” Comes to PS5, XSX Sept. 4th

Void Crew, developed by Hutlihut Games and published by Focus Entertainment, launches on September 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. After a successful release on PC, this chaotic co-op space adventure is heading to consoles. Players team up to explore the galaxy, fight enemies, and scavenge loot across dangerous missions. Piktiv AB handled the console port, ensuring a smooth and optimized experience on both platforms.

The console version includes the 1.1 update, which is already available on Steam. This update adds support for six-player co-op, introduces new ship modules, and brings in a new Survivor mode. With over 5,600 reviews and an 87 percent “Very Positive” rating, Void Crew continues to grow its fanbase and deliver intense, team-based action in deep space.

What We Can Expect

  • Crossplay support for up to six players across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

  • Fast-paced space battles filled with new hazards and challenges

  • A brand-new Survivor mode for higher difficulty and replayability

  • New ship modules and upgrades to enhance customization and strategy

My Thoughts

There’s definitely some well-earned buzz building around Void Crew. I had to check out the trailer to see if this six-player co-op space chaos lives up to the hype. Full crossplay is a huge plus. The game actually reminds me of the tabletop co-op classic Space Alert. I have no idea how useful I’d be in a group, but if the GO Cast ever hosted a Void Crew game night, I’d absolutely do my best to join the fun.
