Cozy up in the Wilderness! Craft, Explore, and Thrive Off-Grid in Outbound
Outbound, the upcoming cozy survival (“cozyvival”) adventure from developer Square Glade Games and publisher Silver Lining Interactive, is officially headed to PlayStation 5 (digital) and PC via Steam in early 2026. Set in a vibrant, utopian near-future, Outbound invites players to begin their journey with a simple camper van and transform it into the ultimate customizable home on wheels. Whether venturing solo or traveling in online co-op with up to four friends, players are free to explore at their own pace. You will scavenge, craft, farm, and power your journey using nature itself.
From modular van building and decorating to harvesting energy from the sun, wind, and rivers, Outbound emphasizes sustainability and self-sufficiency. The open world is filled with dynamic biomes, hidden secrets, and opportunities to discover who you are when the road and the world are entirely yours.

My Thoughts
Why did Outbound immediately grab my attention? Because I’m the kind of person who sits at a desk all day, quietly daydreaming about a life of freedom and open roads. The idea of exploring the world in a cozy, upgradable van while living off the land feels like a digital escape I didn’t know I needed. With its chill vibes, customizable home-on-wheels, and sustainable off-grid living, Outbound offers the kind of virtual road trip that lets me unwind just thinking about it. Honestly, I can feel my shoulders relaxing already.
