devINITIVE digital event official date September 10th, 2025

The digital event devINITIVE will air on September 10th, 2025 at 9:00 PM CET (Central European Time). Created to spotlight indie developers from Spain and Latin America, the show aims to bring well-deserved attention to regional talent that often gets overlooked on the global stage.

Lovely Indies and DjPanchi (host of Tú, Yo y el Indie) are organizing the showcase. Viewers can expect exclusive announcements, new trailers, and fresh updates from a wide range of upcoming indie titles.

The event will include English subtitles and feature contributions from partners like Meridiem Games, Tesura Games, Dojo System, Selecta Play, and JanduSoft. You can catch the show on the official devINITIVE YouTube channel or on DjPanchi’s Twitch channel.

In addition, a Steam event page will launch during the showcase. This page will let players wishlist featured titles and explore a curated section of standout games released in 2025. The Steam feature comes thanks to a collaboration with Ogre Pixel, a studio based in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Led by Steve Durán, Ogre Pixel is known for titles like Lonesome Village and A Tiny Sticker Tale.

The devINITIVE team also encourages community participation. A full set of co-streaming resources, including overlays and graphics, is available. Anyone is welcome to stream the event and help elevate the voices of these passionate indie creators.

My Thoughts

Indie games? If you know me, you know I love to give love to the indies. Not a AAA title? That’s totally fine by me. Here in the Eastern Time Zone, that 9 PM CET start time means a 3 AM wake-up call, so I’ll be catching up the next morning. But with major studios continuing to shrink, shut down, or delay projects, I’ll gladly take all the indie game news I can get and love every minute of it. Join in!
