Rogue Labyrinth Is Available on Steam!

Tea Witch Games, in partnership with indie game management platform indie.io, has officially launched Rogue Labyrinth, an action-narrative roguelite now available on Steam for $14.99 USD. Players can grab it at a 20% discount for a limited time. After turning heads at Gamescom and PAX West, the full release arrives fittingly on the final day of PAX West, moving from the expo floor straight into the hands of players.

In Rogue Labyrinth, players step into the shoes of Iris, a sarcastic punk unwillingly trapped in a deadly reality show created by the self-absorbed mogul Echelon. The colossal Labyrinth is built for ratings, not survival, transforming contestants into entertainment and combat into spectacle. Armed with a giant smacking stick and sharp wit, Iris must battle through randomized arenas, form unusual alliances, and uncover the secrets of Lantanas. Everything in the environment, from rocks to rival contestants, can be turned into a weapon, ensuring each encounter is unpredictable and chaotic.

Combat combines bullet-hell dodging with hack-and-slash action, rewarding improvisation. Debris, trees, and even fallen enemies can be thrown back into the fight, creating chain reactions across the battlefield. Every run introduces shifting routes, fresh powers, and branching narrative choices that keep the show dynamic. Alongside the drama and humor of arena rivals, players will find quirky mini-games tucked between battles to further mix up the chaos.

The cast of characters drives the game’s personality, with standout performances from a seasoned voice lineup. Brent Mukai (One Piece, Demon Slayer) plays Tonio, the vending machine salesman always chasing a deal. Michael Malconian (Genshin Impact, RWBY) electrifies the crowd as Whydini. Leeanna Albanese (Persona 5 Tactica) portrays Dwyn, a fame-obsessed popstar, while Terrance Addison voices Gooey, a loveable rock creature. Lauryn Alvarez rounds out the cast as Prunella, the steady elder guiding contestants. Even the developers make cameo appearances inside the Labyrinth, embracing the absurd spirit of the show.

What We Can Expect

  • Fast-paced roguelite action with bullet-hell dodging and hack-and-slash combat.

  • Dynamic narrative choices that ripple across each run.

  • Mini-games and environmental improvisation that keep the chaos fresh.

  • A colorful cast of rivals, staff, and personalities brought to life by a standout voice lineup.

My Thoughts

At first, I thought, “Okay, this is just a video game version of The Running Man.” Then I watched the trailer. Yes, the phrase “unwillingly trapped in a deadly reality show” fits that comparison, but the game itself looks like so much more. Roguelite chaos mixes with a variety of mini-games and puzzles designed to challenge players in different ways, making each run feel unique and exciting. The 16-bit style delivers a steady drip of nostalgia straight into my veins. And at $14.99, how could I say no? I’ll be playing it, how about you?
