Monster Attack Cleaning Sim ‘KAIJU CLEANUP’ Announced During Tokyo Game Show
KaijuCorp is calling for recruits in Kaiju Cleanup, the upcoming cleaning simulation developed by Brightrock Games and published by Mythwright. Releasing on PC at a later date, this quirky title puts players in the role of a hazardous-materials cleaner tasked with tackling the aftermath of massive Kaiju battles. Instead of saving the day during the attack, you arrive after the dust settles to clean up skyscraper-high carcasses and toxic debris.
Armed with an arsenal of specialist tools, you will slice, dice, claw, slurp, and scrub your way through ruined cityscapes. Whether it is extracting organs with a claw, cutting apart monster meat with a laser, or slurping up Kaiju jelly, each mission blends humor with oddly satisfying, therapeutic gameplay. Of course, the danger is not over just because the monsters are dead. Radiation, acid, and unstable organs are waiting to end your life, but thanks to cloning technology, you can always come back to finish the job.
As your career advances, you can upgrade your gear, customize your KaijuCorp headquarters, and trick out your van and outfit. Along the way, you will also uncover story tidbits through audio logs, crew chatter, and an expanding research codex, offering hints about why these massive creatures are so intent on knocking down skyscrapers.
According to Mythwright’s publishing director, Kaiju Cleanup is designed to give cleaning-sim fans a monster-sized twist filled with humor, satisfying gameplay, and memorable scenarios. Add it to your Steam Wishlist today to prepare for the world’s strangest cleanup job.

My Thoughts
I know we have some washing, mowing, and other simulator fans out there. I’ll be honest, those types of games haven’t really sunk their hooks into my free time yet. However, I could easily see Kaiju Cleanup changing that. It blends the cozy relaxation of sim gameplay with Kaiju lore. And what’s this? A hint of roguelite? You can be cloned to finish the job if you die from the hazards inside the carcass? Oh man, my wallet might be a little lighter soon.
