Biking survival horror game Quite A Ride finds a publisher!

Quite a Ride, developed by Goodwin Games and published by Silver Lining Interactive, is a surreal pedal powered survival horror game set in a fog covered rural landscape. The thick mist spawns anomalies that poison the land, pushing players to explore on a bicycle, record discoveries, and survive long enough to uncover what is happening in this shifting world. The partnership allows Goodwin Games to focus on building the tension and atmosphere that define the experience, while early impressions from the publisher describe the game as frightening and deliberately unnerving.

The game features bicycle based survival, a mysterious phone inhabited by a cryptic silhouette, and an ever changing road filled with abandoned towns, strange laboratories, and unsettling encounters. Players must manage limited phone battery, which recharges only while pedaling, and avoid looking back at the threat that stalks them through the fog. Collective player progress will shape the environment over time, revealing new areas, characters, and secrets as the community advances.

What We Can Expect

• Pedal focused survival exploration through a mist covered rural world filled with anomalies and fear.
• Resource and risk management with a mysterious phone, shifting environments, and limited battery.
• A community driven progression system that unlocks new locations and secrets based on global player activity.

My Thoughts

This one looks genuinely spooky, and the idea of pedaling through dense fog while something follows you feels like the kind of tension that sticks with me long after I stop playing. The phone mechanic is interesting, especially since the battery recharges while you ride. I like that approach a lot more than searching for loose batteries every few minutes. The shifting world and strange encounters only add to the mystery, and Steam already has a link up, so I will definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Check out the trailer below.
