This new sci-fi IP follows spacefarer Hugh and android Diana as they escape a hostile lunar research station. PRAGMATA: Experience a unique blend of hacking and shooting in a “Sketchbook” demo that encourages repeat playthroughs to find hidden features.
-
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection: Forge bonds with Monsties in an expansive RPG featuring the new Wyvernsoul Gauge and Habitat Restoration systems.
-
Resident Evil Requiem: Navigate the terrifying ruins of Raccoon City with a dual-protagonist system featuring both first-person and third-person perspectives.
My Thoughts
I am genuinely excited about this Capcom lineup! Both PRAGMATA and Resident Evil Requiem have been on my must-play list for a while. Seeing Resident Evil Requiem running so smoothly on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a huge relief. The ability to switch between first and third-person perspectives at any time sounds like a game-changer for the series. Plus, the return to a devastated Raccoon City with Leon and new protagonist Grace Ashcroft brings back all the right survival horror vibes.
PRAGMATA also continues to look like a standout new IP. The “single-player co-op” dynamic between Hugh and Diana is such a unique concept. I love that the gameplay focuses on a mix of tactical hacking and weighty combat rather than just mindless shooting. Even Monster Hunter Stories 3 is catching my eye with its new Habitat Restoration mechanics. It is refreshing to see a series move toward preserving ecosystems rather than just hunting. Capcom is definitely hitting its stride as we move into the second half of the decade!
