‘High on Life 2’ Reveals Official Spencer’s Collaboration

This February, Squanch Games and the retailer Spencer’s teamed up to create a line of t-shirts, hats, plush, accessories, and more. Merchandise includes that inspired by the newly released High on Life 2. You can find this entire collection on the Spencer’s online website.

In an interesting and very true-to-brand for Squanch is an interesting meta-experience. Player’s can peruse a Spencer’s store within the High on Life 2 game. Check out the video below.

My Thoughts

I love a good merch collection. When a company reaches out and works with a retailer some really fun things can come about. If you’re one of the millions who played High On Life on Game Pass or Steam, this collection feels like a well deserved nod to your fandom. The first game also had some great meta moments with entire movies able to be played within the game. Having a 1-for-1 store in game is a fun idea, and kudos to Squanch and Spencer’s for pushing capitalism to it’s inevitable end with their signature tongue-in-cheek flair. I just hope that the “squish” factor is still dialed up to 11 for this sequel.
