-
Authentic Mechanics: A comprehensive rope and belaying system provides a realistic layer of safety and technicality to every ascent.
-
Community Creativity: Full Steam Workshop support allows players to build, share, and compete on custom routes and entirely new locations.
My Thoughts
Cairn is currently at the top of my Game of the Year list. It was a spectacular experience, even if I felt a few specific areas could have used some polish. I have been looking for another climbing title that captures that same magic but leaves the “baggage” of Cairn behind. New Heights, with its focus on realistic physics and actual real-world routes, looks like the perfect simulation to fill that void. I cannot wait to get my hands on it this February.
