People of Note Share Final Musical Number Preview Ahead of Release

Over the past several weeks, People of Note has been doling out songs to its anticipated audience to highlight the music we’ll be soon to see. Today, the final song Annapurna Interactive is sharing was released, titled “Sorry Girl” and you can watch it below.

People of Note is from Iridium Studios, the developers of a tiny indie game titled Before the Echo, or Sequence as it was originally known when it released on Xbox Live.

People of Note looks to elevate that formula into a full-blown PS1/2 style JRPG, set in a musical world. You can join Cadence on her adventure to lead the world to musical fusion when the game releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC on April 7th.

My Thoughts

I played the ever-loving hell out of Sequence back on Xbox 360. The fusion of note highway combat and RPG mechanics was intoxicating, especially in that era when Guitar Hero and its ilk reigned supreme. The writing hasn’t aged well in that title, but People of Note seems to demonstrate a tremendous growth in that area. Can’t wait to explore the world of Note.
