Drunkslop: Pub Crawl COOP Turns a Wild Night Out Into a High-Stakes Win Condition

Experience 100% chaos and zero hangovers in Drunkslop: Pub Crawl COOP, the latest title from developer and publisher Gin & Tonic. This first-person indie adventure is currently in development for PC with a release date to be announced. The game turns getting wasted into a competitive win condition for you and your friends. You must constantly monitor your Drunk Meter to avoid an instant wipe while navigating a night of absurd situations.

Players can scavenge for cash and commit to sketchy side-hustles to fund their next round of drinks. Every shot introduces RNG elements that may cause hallucinations or heavy debuffs to your vision. You can even experiment with cocktail mixing to discover cursed status effects or helpful buffs. The game uses a character status system to ensure that every random encounter and strange event feels unique to your specific run.

What We Can Expect

  • High-Stakes Inebriation: Keep your Drunk Meter high to stay in the game, as letting your buzz drop results in an immediate lobby kick.
  • Cursed Mixology: Experiment with various drink combinations to unlock unusual effects and unpredictable “shadow realm” transitions.
  • Chaotic Co-op Quests: Work with a squad to earn money through mini-events and random encounters while surviving vision-altering RNG.

My Thoughts

It is so much fun to see developers lean into the absolute absurdity that only indie games can provide! We are always looking for ways to support indie developers as much as we can, and a project like Drunkslop: Pub Crawl COOP really highlights why. It’s that creative, “outside-the-box” thinking that makes the indie scene so vibrant. We love supporting that kind of passion with our news and reviews, especially when the devs are kind enough to share their hard work with us. Plus, I think we can all agree that a co-op game where the “buffs” are cursed cocktails and the “win condition” is staying rowdy is exactly the kind of plate-happiness we need. I can’t wait to see the chaos this one brings to our game nights!
