Solve a Sinister Mystery with Pranks in The Last Slava from Dibidus Games
Developer and publisher Dibidus Games has announced The Last Slava. This unique puzzle adventure is coming to Steam soon. In this title, you step into the shoes of a relative. You are returning to your Eastern European roots for a lively family gathering. Consequently, you are quickly surrounded by the chaos of food, drinks, and deep-rooted traditions. Furthermore, you cannot shake the feeling that a sinister mystery is unfolding right under your nose. To uncover the truth, you must investigate like a seasoned detective. However, you must execute your plans like a clever prankster. Therefore, observation, timing, and pure mischief will serve as your primary tools in this comedic investigation.
To start, you will need to carefully watch your relatives’ daily routines. You can then deliberately disrupt their loops to drive your investigation forward. Every hilarious interruption alters the overarching story. As a result, you will expose new secrets about the family and their questionable deeds. Meanwhile, new rooms unlock within a vivid, dollhouse-like environment as the mystery deepens. This progression introduces fresh characters and expands your playing field. Navigating this celebration also requires you to explore branching dialogues. Additionally, you must choose your words and your drinks very carefully. Beyond the dialogue, you will tackle absurd mini-games inspired by Slavic traditions. Finally, you can visit the Slava table to grab a bite, gain a power-up, and cause even more chaos.

My Thoughts
A puzzle game where you solve a sinister mystery by actively gaslighting and pranking your own family sounds like a good time. The Last Slava looks absolutely delightful, especially with its incredibly unique art style and distinct Eastern European aesthetic. The eccentric characters alone look like they will be worth the price of admission, and I am always down for a comedy game that leans into pure, unadulterated mischief.
On a quick behind-the-scenes note, the team at Dibidus Games reached out to Scott for help in sharing the big news about their upcoming title. We are always happy to support indie teams and amplify their creative efforts here at the site. This is definitely one distinct family dinner you will want to add to your Steam wishlist.
