Zen Studios Brings the Classic Judge Dredd Pinball Table to Pinball FX This Fall

Zen Studios is bringing another classic arcade icon to the digital space. Bally’s legendary 1993 Judge Dredd pinball table is officially headed to modern platforms this fall. Based on the iconic comic book series, this fast-paced table puts you behind the badge of the most respected and feared lawman in Mega-City One.

Players can dive into the action using two different modes. Availability details include Pinball FX on Steam, Epic Games, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Pinball FX Midnight is on Xbox X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Epic Games. For our VR fans, Pinball FX VR is on Meta Quest. Furthermore, the table faithfully recreates all the chaotic crime-fighting features of the original physical machine.

What We Can Expect

Classic and Super Game Modes: Defend justice through ten distinct play modes in classic play, or launch SUPER GAME to kick off your run with an immediate multiball. Each mode features its own dedicated leaderboard.
The Deadworld Robotic Arm: Utilize the Space Station Robotic Arm to release locked balls trapped in Deadworld’s orbit.
High-Speed Chases: Pursue fleeing perpetrators over the Mega-City Super Highway to rack up massive points.
Felony Level Progression: Advance the crime level all the way to a Class X Felony to significantly boost your crime scene rewards.
Conquer Judge Death: Battle the dark Judges from Deadworld and take down Judge Death himself in “The Ultimate Challenge” Wizard Mode.

My Thoughts

Wherever you find pinball, you might find a Scott Clark in the wild, and he is all hyped up for this release! While the 1990s Judge Dredd movie might not have won over every theatergoer, it certainly spawned a legacy of games. That era brings back memories of working at Blockbuster Video during a 1995 tournament featuring NBA Jam and Judge Dredd. Watching dozens of kids tackle that same level satisfied my gaming itch back then. Fast forward thirty years, and that legendary pinball table is digitally coming home. I am definitely picking this one up. How about you?
