R2V2 2025 Vendor Information

Are you a vendor or video games/consoles looking for a place to sell? Or maybe you’re a developer looking to show off your hard work to a community of gamers. Either way, The Rock River Valley Video Game Convention (or R2V2 for short) is a celebration of all things video games in Rockford, Illinois, and we want you to be a part of it!

R2V2 is a community event organized by The Gaming Outsider. Outside of vendors and developers, we’ve put together plenty of activities for gamers of all ages:

  • Video game tournaments
  • Cosplay contests
  • Over 20 arcade cabinets and pinball tables
  • Rock Band karaoke
  • A multiplayer VR game called Catastophic Inversion that takes up an entire room
  • Live music in the evening featuring 4 bands playing video game covers

It’s going to be an amazing event, and we can’t wait to provide it to our community again.

This year’s R2V2 will be on Saturday, October 11th, and for the second year in a row, it will be held at Cliffbreakers Event Center in Rockford, IL. The venue has on-site lodging, free parking, and easy access to the vending hall with no stairs.

Here’s everything you need to know about being a vendor at R2V2:

  • Vendor booth spaces are 10′ x 10′ in size and include one 8′ table with one black tablecloth. Cost: $100 each.
  • Developer booth spaces are 5′ x 10′ in size and include one 8′ table with one black tablecloth. Cost: $75 each.
  • Additional tables will be available for rent, if needed.
  • Power will be provided, if needed.
  • Soft drinks will be provided throughout the convention for all vendors.
  • You also have free admission to the after-party with live music & cash bar.
