Ubisoft announces prehestoric Far Cry: Primal

Ubisoft streamed an interesting teaser last night for a new project the publishing giant is currently developing. The teaser showed nothing but a cave drawing that looks like a caveman with a spear and bow in hand. Some thought the title could be hinting at a prehistoric Assassin’s Creed game while others thought it may be a new Far Cry. Well it seems the word on the street is that the game is indeed a new Far Cry game set in the ice age titled Far Cry: Primal. The proverbial beans were spilled by a division of IGN via a tweet that has now been deleted.

A few days later, Ubisoft finally came out and revealed a trailer for the game and confirmed the name as Far Cry: Primal. The game is set in the ice age and shows off some interesting encounters with prehistoric beasts. The game surprisingly releases Februrary 23rd, 2016 for Xbox One and PS4 with a PC release following in March. Check out the reveal trailer below.
