Humble Bundle’s Monthly Bundle for May includes Mad Max for $12

Humble Bundle is an amazing company that not only does amazing things for charity, but amazing things for gamers too. Thanks to their series of themed video game bundles available every few weeks, PC gamers can obtain new games for their Steam clients at dirt cheap prices while also being able divvy up the money paid to worthy charities as well. I know my personal Steam library has grown massive thanks to this service and I’ve helped some great charities out in the process.

Back in February, Humble Bundle started a new service called Humble Monthly Bundle where gamers can pay $12 a month to obtain six mystery games unveiled to them at the beginning of each month. Even though you’re taking a gamble by not knowing what games you’ll get each month, it’s exciting to think about what goodies could be included in that bundle. It feels like Christmas every month! The games offered each month are not cheap, throwaway junk titles either. In past months subscribers have gotten games like South Park: The Stick of Truth, Alien Isolation, Wasteland 2, Titan Souls and This War of Mine. Those are pretty big titles! Not every game in the bundle may be to your liking, but there is at least one heavy hitter each month that makes the price well worth it.

The company has announced this week that the latest bundle for the month of May will include the underrated open world action title Mad Max by Avalanche Studios (Just Cause series, Renegade Ops) and new subscribers will get a copy right away for signing up. Mad Max still retails at $60 on the Steam store and $40 for consoles at most major retailers, so for $12 plus five other mystery games being thrown into the mix, that’s one hell of a bargain! Not to mention 5% of the proceeds go to charity AND you’ll get 10% off of all game purchases through the Humble Store while being a subscriber too.

If you’re interested, head on over to the Humble Monthly Bundle website and sign up today. You will be charged $12 automatically each month but can also cancel at any time and keep any game you’ve obtained through the service. Now to actually play through all of these Steam games…
