Episode 163 | Fortnite: Battle Royale, Pokken & Community Toxicity

This week on The Gaming Outsider podcast, we welcome back Shannon Moore to discuss a slew of new topics.

News covers Ubisoft’s educational mode for Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Nintendo’s update to Super Mario Run and the SNES Classic launch. Scott finishes Metroid: Samus Returns and gives us his early impressions of Pinball FX3. Josh finishes Shantae: Half Genie Hero and runs through the demo build of Shovel Knight: King of Cards. Zach gets the PUBG experience through Fortnite: Battle Royale and Shannon gives Pokken Tournament DX a spin.

Our community topic centers around the gaming community and its bad reputation, including poor treatment of developers and even each other. How has it come to this and what can we do to combat toxicity in gaming?
