Geminose: Animal Popstars | Nintendo Switch Review

Have you ever wanted to be a popstar, chef, or even slice cake in mid air? If yes, then you will really want to play Geminose: Animal Popstars from Behaviour Interactive, Novarama, and Majesco Entertainment.

Geminose

Dance Like No One’s Watching

Geminose is about two sisters, Nimmy and Smudge, that formed a band of animal friends. The animals in the game can cook, sing, dance, and much more. That is pretty much it for the story. The sisters just say the instructions.

When you play as the band, you earn more fans. You can also impress different animals to get different characters. You can also earn coins to get different outfits and furniture for the animals’ houses.

Play And Sing

Geminose is an adventure game that you can also play with someone else. You cannot play it with the Nintendo Switch Light, because the Joy Cons have to be detached. If there is a way to play it without taking the Joy Cons off, then I could not find it. You also cannot use a Nintendo Pro Controller.

To play, you use your arms. When you play as the band you put your arms up, down, and then in the center. You are supposed to be on time with music when you play. Think of it like Dance, Dance, Revolution, but with your arms instead of your feet. When you are in rhythm, you get a higher score. Higher score means more coins.

Sing It With Me

The visuals in Geminose are amazing. It makes me feel like I’m watching a Disney movie. Also there were not any bugs or any glitches besides my T.V. being annoying.

The music is terrific! It is not glitchy, and the music is pretty catchy. If you play it, you will have songs from the game stuck in your head for days.

I like the game, and I think you will as well. The game is pretty fun even though it is kind of time consuming, it is still enjoyable and really cute.
