Microsoft Partner Showcase

Hunter the Reckoning: Deathwish

The show opened with a surprise that wasn’t exactly a surprise anymore. Teyon and Nacon inadvertently let slip a week or so ago that Hunter the Reckoning: Death was on the horizon when the demo was posted on Steam. Now that the announcement has been made official, look forward to it summer 2027, Xbox, PS5 & PC.,

Wuthering Waves

This hotly-anticipated Japanese title has a release window of July 2026, and is coming to Game Pass. Game Pass subscribers evidently get some exclusive benefits as well.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn

If you like Mass Effect, you’ll probably be pretty excited by what you see in the latest trailer from The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. It’s reported to release spring of 2027. You can take part in the beta by going to this link as well.

Grave Seasons

Grave Seasons is a narrative farming sim where there’s a serial killer in town. How’s that for a change of pace? Look for it on Xbox and PC August 14th.

Serious Sam: Shatterverse

So I have some good news and some bad news. The good news: Devolver Digital announced a new Serious Sam game. The bad news? It’s yet another multiplayer hero shooter. Hopefully this gets some people excited.

Stranger than Heaven

Stranger Than Heaven from developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, looks to be a third-person brawler set across five eras and five Japanese cities. Not much else is known yet other than it has a jazz drumming soundtrack and multiple fighting styles. On May 6th, an Xbox Wire Showcase will shed more light on this title. It will also be coming to PS5 and Steam.

Super Meatboy 3D

We already knew that Super Meat Boy 3D, but we got a much grander look at this title. It releases later this month on March 31st, and will also be coming to PS5, Switch 2, Steam, and the Epic Game Store.

Forever Ago

Forever Ago looks to be a slice of life game about a road trip taken by characters reminiscing on fond memories from the past. Look for it fall 2026 on all consoles and PC.

Ascend to Zero

The latest Hades-like is Ascend to Zero, which is a melee focused isometric beat ‘em up. It will be released on Xbox and Steam July 13th.

Dispatch – Coming to Xbox

Dispatch was previously only available on PlayStation, Switch, and Steam. This summer, however, it will finally be available on Xbox, including Game Pass.

ADS: Alien Deathstorm

The latest title from developer Rebellion is described as such:

“Explore a devastated off-world colony that is ravaged by a cataclysmic mega-storm and overrun by bloodthirsty aliens in Alien Deathstorm, the new sci-fi action horror FPS from Rebellion. Using a combination of cunning and firepower you must defeat the countless lurking horrors in a desperate fight for survival.”

Look for it on Xbox, Steam, and PS5 in 2027.

Frog Sqwad

Frog Sqwad is “a co-op extraction puzzle-platformer for up to 8 players.” It looks to be a hilarious party game, and it’s coming to Xbox June 2026.

Bluey’s Happy Snaps

The last game based on the popular British children’s show was pretty disappointing, according to our own Paul Hein, who played with his kids. Hopefully this new title does a better job of pleasing fans as much as the show does. Look for it later this fall 2026 on all platforms and PC.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope

Zack reviewed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, and the game is finally getting its first major expansion. Look for it later this summer. More information from Xbox Wire is available here.

  • The DLC will be released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), and PS5. Both the base game and the DLC support Xbox Play Anywhere.
  • Cost of Hope includes a huge new storyline that can take dozens of hours to complete, two new regions, new and returning characters, and much more.

MOOSA: Dirty Fate

If you’re craving some bloody violence, then Moosa Dirty Fate might be right up your alley. This Korean third-person melee combat title 2027 is based on the story of MOOSAs’ revenge, responsibility, and ambition, centered on 17th century Korea. It comes to Xbox and PC later this year, and will be available on Game Pass.

The Eternal Life of Goldman

Developer Weappy showed The Eternal Life of Goldman, which looks like a very unique platformer, indeed. How often do you get a Don Bluth-inspired animated game where you play as an elderly man taking on gooey creatures with an upgradable cane? It releases on Xbox and PC later this year and will be available on Game Pass on day one. The Steam demo is available today, and you can check it out here!

Vaunted

This is a sci-fi tactics RPG. Vaunted releases later this year on Xbox, Xbox PC, Steam, and the Epic Game Store.

Hades II

This title was originally only available on Switch and PC. On April 14, it will be coming to Xbox and PS5. There was much rejoicing.

Artificial Detective

The show closer for the Microsoft Partner Showcase was Artificial Detective from indie studio Vivix. This is their debut title, and what a first showing this is. As the title suggests, you play as a robot detective in the distant future (2846, to be exact). There seems to be a good combination of detective work and combat with some genuinely fresh animation sequences. All we know about a release date is that it will come out sometime in 2027. You can read more about it here.

And there you have it. Quite a showing, if you ask us. And look at all of those titles comin to Game Pass!
