Astragon Entertainment Unveils Construction Simulator: Evolution During Galaxies Spring Showcase 26

Publisher astragon Entertainment and developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung recently announced the latest entry in their popular simulation series. This new title, Construction Simulator: Evolution, aims to offer the most immersive construction worker experience so far. Because simulation fans often look for authenticity, the game includes Volvo Construction Equipment and other new license partners. Furthermore, the game will offer access to challenging manual labor and impressive demolition works.

The reveal trailer recently debuted as a world premiere within the Galaxies Spring Showcase 26. In addition to these visual updates, the game will feature numerous other brand new and unprecedented features for the franchise. This next evolutionary stage is designed specifically for simulation fans and construction enthusiasts. Consequently, players can expect a deep dive into realistic mechanics and large-scale projects on PC and consoles.

What We Can Expect

• Most extensive fleet in the series’ history: Over 180 officially licensed construction machines, vehicles, and equipment from more than 35 renowned brands.

• New license partners: Numerous new machines from newly added manufacturers such as Ammann, Epiroc, Sennebogen, Volvo Construction Equipment, and others!

• Demolition works: For the first time, players can not only build things, but also tear down buildings!

• Manual labor: The latest installment in the series introduces manual labor works such as plastering walls, the use of hydraulic hammers, table saws, nailguns etc. to the gameplay for the first time!

Quick Play: The new Quick Play option allows players to start an activity of their choice whenever they want!

• Character Editor: With the new and even more comprehensive character editor, players will be able to customize their characters and equip them with officially licensed workwear from well-known brands such as Strauss and Bobcat.

• Single-player & Multiplayer: Players can choose to play alone or in teams of up to four players in cooperative multiplayer mode – including cross-platform sessions!

• Peripherals: Support for popular input devices and steering wheels.

My Thoughts

Yes, this is one of those games that might feel like a full-time job where you don’t get paid! However, the realism and the ability to handle both destruction and construction pulled me right in. The support for steering wheels actually made me chuckle. I mean, really, how do you plaster walls with a steering wheel? That is neither here nor there, of course. The Construction Simulator series has always been known for its massive scale, and Construction Simulator: Evolution looks like it will continue that tradition in a big way. The game looks like a blast and I am excited to play it. How about you?
