Become the Bouncer In ‘Roadhouse Simulator – Prologue,’ Out on May 19
Step back in time to the outlaw days of Route 66 in Roadhouse Simulator, an action-packed management simulator developed and published by DRAGO Entertainment. Serving as a prequel to the two million-selling Gas Station Simulator, the game officially kicks off with a free Prologue chapter releasing on May 19, 2026, for PC via Steam. You take on the role of the Uncle during his humble beginnings as a bouncer at a remote desert roadhouse. Tasked with keeping the peace, you must monitor rowdy patrons and decide whether to use de-escalation or your fists to keep the establishment running smoothly. Because the roadhouse attracts a pack of patrons lacking bar etiquette, you will need to roll up your sleeves to restore order and prove you have the guts for the job.
As you climb the ranks from bouncer to bartender, you will master the art of attending to demanding guests while protecting the business from rival biker gangs. The gameplay forces you to balance your authority with discretion, as you can either operate a clean shop or exploit opportunities for shady deals. However, you must keep the local sheriff at bay, as a lack of discretion could lead to inspections, fines, or total shutdowns. Furthermore, a full demo is planned for later this year to showcase expanded mechanics, including managing a fully operational bar. Consequently, Roadhouse Simulator – Prologue offers a first taste of the Uncle’s origin story, challenging players to rule with an iron fist or head back to the bus.

My Thoughts
Whether you are a fan of the Patrick Swayze classic or the “good-until-McGregor-shows-up” remake, anyone who has watched Road House will recognize the vibe and likely feel the pull to step into those Dalton-esque shoes to clean up the bar. It is a clever way to expand the Gas Station Simulator universe by giving us a look at the Uncle’s rough-and-tumble history long before he settled down. I have no idea what is up with the snake wearing a top hat, but the rest of the trailer only makes me want to play it more. Check it out!
